January 8/09 – 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM – 6 pages of my play completed (43 pages total, approximately 9500 words)

I’m so happy! (And actually really proud of myself for finishing it.)

I’ve emailed it off to my director… I hope he likes it!

After so much procrastination, a prologue is written.

I’ll take it.

See, I’m in the opposite boat… I have a director who wants to produce my play based on the treatment. But I haven’t really gotten a lot of work done on the play, and he’s been after me now, wondering how it’s coming along. Eek! Procrastination is not my friend.

I wrote a treatment for a children’s play and one of my colleagues at the theatre I work at said I should write it and submit it for next year’s summer theatre program. That got me thinking, and excited. I would love to have a play of mine produced!

Gotta get crackin’!
