finish cross stitch projects

Cross stitching has taken a bit of a backseat to my knitting right now, just because I needed to finish a bunch of knitting for gifts. I was inspired today to pull out my cross stitches and finish them, but then got stuck on my knitting again! But I really want to start by finishing off the edging and framing of the completed projects I have and go from there. At least I could get the done ones out of my craft box!

Started:
- Winnie the Pooh bookmark (just need to apply edging)
- Snow White
- Cinderella
- Bedtime Bear (complete, needs to be framed)
- Wish Bear (complete, needs to be framed)
- Bear riding bicycle (complete, needs to be framed)
- Cows
- Bear bookmark
- Flower bookmark (just edging)
- Dragon

Not started:
- Tigger
- Santa
- Floral frame
- Noel bears

Ugh, that’s 14 projects. I had to throw away a cat project because it was damaged during a move.

I keep finding new, cute patterns to do, but I really need to finish these first. :(

I love the stitching aspect of the projects, but the ironing/backing/edging/framing part is so boring.

I was going through my arts and crafts box and found three more half-finished projects, as well as two or three new ones still in their packages. I think this goal is going to take a little longer than I expected… :S

Bedtime Bear and Wish Bear are done being stitched, just need to be ironed and framed.

Now working on a half-started Cinderella. She’s got a full dress and hair now! :P

I’ve completed all the stitching on a Bedtime Bear cross stitch, now I just have to iron and frame it. :)
