make my own christmas cards

I’ve made several cards. I’ve kept the design pretty simple, not only because I’m a newbie and I want to avoid major mistakes, but because my taste in cards can be summed up as “less is more” anyway.

I’ll still be using some shop-bought cards too but that’s not the point.

Now that the postal deadlines are looming, I need to move on to writing in the cards and sending them!

I’ve just surprised myself and made my first Xmas card. Okay, so the writing’s a bit wonky and the stickers aren’t perfectly aligned… but it’s all right!

It now has my writing inside it and it’s going to be sent to one of my friends, who also makes her own cards. I’m sure she won’t snigger when she sees it.

I don’t think this is going to happen: if I don’t think I can make cards that look good, I’ll send shop-bought cards again.

I do have quite a creative streak but I’m a harsh critic of my creative efforts…
