today was really mixed. i was so busy. it’s really tough to eat what i’m supposed to eat if i’m running around a lot.
breakfast
coco oil, cod liver oil pills
egg omelette w/feta redpepper spinach
2 pc toast (supposed to be 1)
some salad
green tea
lunch
roast beef
1pc whole wheat sour dough bread, mayo
banana
dinner
chicken couscous w/veggies
tea (had sugar in it – no no)
hummus w/white bread (white bread – no no)
glass of wine
i was overfull after dinner. i’m hungry now, but it’s past bedtime, so i’m just going to go to sleep.
overall, i guess it’s not a terrible day, but i know i felt better and felt more sure that i would lose weight when i was following the real spirit of the food plan. i need to figure out some meals on the go that fit the plan better.
i’m going to start the day tomorrow with steel oats and grape fruit and really try to stick to the plan for the day.
i played tennis today, but i did not do nautilus. i’m going to try to fit that in tomorrow. plan is to do it sat, mon, thu. so now it will be two days in a row if i manage to squeeze it in.
off to bed.

i knew today was going to be tough because of working. i ate the proper breakfast (see last entry), but then it got late for lunch, and i made tuna salad, but it wasn’t really that healthy, and i didn’t have anything else, and i didn’t have the coconut oil 20 min before. then i had 2 cookies and a couple chip. definitely not on the plan. then i snacked a little on some chicken dishes i was making at work. it wasn’t a lot, but this was all against the plan, where i’m supposed to have three good meals, preceeded by the coconut oil. for dinner, i did have the oil, and a big salad, and some salmon. i was still hungry afterwards and had some cream cheese on a little piece of whole grain sour dought bread, and some ginger ice cream with coconut sprinkles. it’s probably okay, but i feel off-track. i’m hungry again, so i know things are off, because when i ate just the way i was supposed to the last four days, i was never hungry.
i’m going to try to be really good tomorrow. not going to give up. i’ll weigh myself tomorrow too.
i really want to stay dedicated to sticking with the plan. if i go off, i want to just get back on and keep going.
the other problem tonight was that i was feeling anxious, so i wanted to eat bad food. guess i didn’t give in, so that’s good.
that’s it for now.

lost weight
Well, I’ve been doing a modified coconut diet, and I have been eating a lot, but it’s been healthy big meals, and I weighed myself today (which I wasn’t going to do), and it says I’ve lost 8 pounds. I’m sure some of that must be water weight, but still… pretty good. I have exercised everyday, so I’m sure that’s a factor too. The thing about this diet, though, is that I’ve been less hungry. Okay, it’s still early. But I really will try to stick with it.
breakfast
1 tblspoon virgin coconut oil (20 min. before)
cod liver oil (20 min. before)
banana
eggs, herb sauce, toast/butter
tea
lunch
1 tblspoon coconut oil (20 min. before)
romaine w/walnuts and oil/vinegar dressing
leftover green curry chicken from last night
4 strawberries
spritzer
dinner
1 tblspoon coconut oil (20 min. before)
brussel sprouts steamed with butter
pork chop, cooked w/rosemary, olive oil, soy sauce
ginger ice cream w/coconute sprinkles and 4 strawberries
figure I’ll write down the meals so i can repeat them in a week.
here’s to sticking with this.

I had to get up earlier than usual today, so I didn’t have the proper breakfast I was supposed to have. I got eggs in the late morning, which is on the plan, but I also had white toast, which is not. I’m not going to get upset about it. That won’t help. It’s actually time for lunch, and I’m hungry, so I’ll be sure to eat the right stuff for lunch and dinner today. Today is a day I’m supposed to do nautilus, so I’ll do that, but I’ll add extra time to my aerobics routine to make up for not eating breakfast right. I haven’t weighed myself, but I feel like my body is already different, more taut or something, probably from the nautilus/exercise I’ve done this week.
Still pretty much on plan. The real challenge is going to be during PMS weeks, when I CRAVE salty, fatty starches of the wrong kind. I’m kind of hoping that taking the coconut oil is going to help with that. but we’ll see.
time for my healthy lunch.

I just happened to pick up a diet book at a health food store on Friday, and decided to start the diet. You have to eat coconut oil, which is kind of icky, but I will say that it did help me to not have any cravings.
So yesterday and today I pretty much stuck to the plan. There’s a long way to go, and my ultimate goal is to eat really healthily (so far so good) and to exercise daily.
I’m planning on doing nautilus Sat./Mon./Thu. and tennis or aerobics or bikeriding on all of the other days of the week.
I’m active in general, but I have a lot of weight to lose. Wish me luck!
