finish my masters

I never thought I would finish this but I handed in my dissertation last week!

I’ve managed to transfer on to the Education Masters and I’ve started my dissertation. I feel really good about this and feel that I will finally manage to get there.

I’ve made an appointment to see the programme director to discuss completing the Masters but I am also investigating transferring all my credits over to a Masters in Education which would be more suitable.

Currently this goal is on the back seat – I won an award for teaching in March and I am now working on a submission for a national award and spending every available minute writing it until my brain freezes. Once I’ve done it I may be able to use what I’ve written as part of my Masters anyway…

I’ve been doing my masters for a couple of years now – as I work full time in higher education it’s very much a part-time project. I started out doing it in a health-related field but added my higher education teaching certificate in (worth a third of the credits) and now am seriously considering transferring all my credits over to completing it as a M.Ed. Just need to make that appointment with the programme director…
