I did really well. Then the weekend (well, Sunday) hit and I didn’t do this once. :( how did I end up with such awful oral hygiene habits?
Anyway… The reason there was at least a slight uptick in brushing, flossing, and rinsing is because the tooth that my dentist drilled a few months ago has started bothering me. (dang!!) so I am trying to take better care of my teeth again. I just hope it’s not too late. I would prefer to not have it get re-drilled.
Well, I had started out the day with this routine. I had intended to do the same at night, but somehow I forgot. I blame Brad… I fell asleep on the couch while cuddling with him. By the time I woke up for bed, all o could think of was going back to sleep.
But I did just finish flossing, brushing, mouth washing AND using that tongue scraper I bought last month. My mouth is nice and minty clean.
Can I keep up a twice a day regiment for a week?? Just one measly week to start off with. My extra motivation is that I am seeing the dentist next week Tuesday (FINALLY). Gonna get my teeth inspected, woo!
Sunday: brushed and flossed once
Morning and Evening: CHECK!
I almost didn’t have time ;) to brush this morning. But I made myself take the extra 3-5 minutes to get it done.
Evening: definitely check. This is going well. :)
“I don’t have enough time” is no longing going to be an excuse I allow myself. If I don’t think I have enough time in the morning, well then I guess I’m waking up 5 minutes earlier!
Morning: CHECK! How nice to go off to work with a fresh minty mouth.
Night: CHECK!... this was done after I logged out of my computer, so I’m updating the day after.
Glad to report that my mouth was still fresh when I awoke, LOL!
Only got one in. Skipped the morning.
I was going to brush after work, but Brad and I had to leave right away to go to a free concert. I did brush, floss, and mouthwash before bed. It’s nice to be able to wake up with clean teeth.
