I haven’t done a thing in 3 months! I am determined to get back into it. Tonight I will do an all-over body thing and also hit the treadmill for 25 minutes or so. Gotta start slow so I don’t get too sore.



trying to find a sitter 11 months ago

I am posting an ad on Craigslist to look for someone that can watch my son when I work out. It is so wildly expensive to take him to the daycare at the gym. My membership itself is way overpriced, so I am going to save myself 40 bucks a month and joining the cheap one down the road instead. No day care over there, but at least I am not breaking the bank to have a membership!

strength training – once a week
“short” run (3 miles or so) – once a week
“long” run (5-6 miles) – once a week

Yoga is tonight at 5:15!

I caught myself in the mirror the other day. I was horrified, but I am glad I did it. It was a wake up call I needed. I have always been “lucky” in that I could always eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight excessively. But I am 28 now and my body is changing.

I also breastfeed much less and I quit a job that involved 4 hours of walking once a week. I never considered the consequences of eating the same but reducing my energy output by 3000 calories a week!!! If I am no longer breastfeeding 6 times a day and not doing all that walking, I should have reduced my calories, too. Ben and Jerry will have to find a new wife!!!

I have a B.S. in Sports Nutrition! DUH!

Anyway, I was depressed for about a week, but I am over it now. I signed up for a marathon and bought my training log yesterday. I did all this before, and it’s time to get back into it! Having a child is NOT a good reason to gain tons of weight, although I know my body will never be the same, lol.

I’ve been weight training twice a week and jogging too. My road race is less than 4 weeks away. I feel totally commited!



2 hour walk 2 years ago

My paper route forces me to walk for 2 hours every Tuesday morning. So I really only need to work out at the gym 3 times a week!

First time working out in 2 months. I am nervous but I HAVE TO DO IT!!!

because my mornings are sooooo lazy.

This morning, I prepared myself at 11 am. I fed Elias at 11:20, dressed him and dressed myself. I had a little snack before I left too.

I promised myself I would do this before I really thought about it. Now that this site is forcing me to keep my promise (or face embarrassment to the 43T community), I am hitting the gym tomorrow!
