buy a Vespa

That’s her name! She’s loverly. We sucked it up and got the new LS125cc… wine colored. Oh so loverly she is.

Sinead ran her into a wall twenty minutes after we brought her home, so… well… that first dent is done and I don’t have to worry about keeping her perfect.

*goal achieved!

OH, I am still vespa crazy. I saw lovely vespas and I wanted to take them all home. Unfortunately, we have to wait for a good used one to come up, because the 125cc new is 2400 pounds. *yeep!

Okay- now I’m officially endorsed to ride a motorcycle in the States. Scary stuff. In the training, we never left the parking lot or exceeded 23 mph. And, to top it off, I never really did master the art of stopping gradually. But there’s a little “M” on my license. Phat.

I’m trying to decide if I should get my license before I move to Britain or after. It’s not clear what the rules are for getting one there as a non-permanent resident.

I did find the most perfect retro orange-y Vespa though. 125cc with a max speed of 58mph. Sadly, it’s in Oregon, so I shan’t be able to buy it.
