A brief clarity
reveals eleven figures
suspended inside

snowflakes fluttering
down through a cold winter night
exquisite water

Two crows conversing
on the side of the hi-way
“looks like a nice day”

Silent listening
in the middle of the night
for what dreams may come

La Innocente,
heal me of my homesickness
for my wild deep self.

Waken my courage,
let fierce tears of compassion
flow over my heart.

despondent angel
laying down her heart and soul,
life has made her sad

metamorphosis
fortunate sanctuary
to grow a new skin

middle of the night
filled with such anxiety,
exausting mornings.

low winter light brings
a house pierced by sundaggers
time and light dancing.

maybe everything
has brought us to this moment,
soul-full exposure.
