Travel through europe on a bike or car

Earlier today I was just milling through some thoughts and ideas.

And despite the fact that I believe you should take your time and not be too casual about geting tattoos, I just thought it would be a cool random idea to get a tattoo in this roeadtrip somewhere. It’ll be like how people in the army/forces etc get tatts together, but instead it’ll just be there to remind me of doing the trip. A significant moment of my life I believe.

This prob derives from the fact that me matey has got himself a tatt, and I’d been thinking about tatts for ages/yrs now. But never could really figure out something personal enough to me to warrant one.

But sod it, come this trip I’m gonna get a tatt somewhere along the line. It’ll prob be small, and I have no damn idea what it’ll be, but this idea feels right to me. It’s gotta be done baby!

Well my travelling partner in mind seems totally up for this despite his own plans to bugger off to Australia for a year.

I’ve already looked at the map and given some basic thoughts in where I want to go. I’m going to miss out spain and portugal because they seem too much like places to go on holiday.

There isn’t a strict plan yet but it seems to need to include the following:
> Visiting kiev so we can do what they did in long way round which is eat a chicken kiev in kiev heh
> Visiting some part of russia
> Visit that church of bones near prague
> Visit Amsterdam
> Visit Paris
> Visit netherlands so I can stock up on stroopwafels

Apart from that the general route is still very loose. I have also estimated to give about 2months for the trip. And U will also have approx 2 yrs to prepare for this. That is to get the money together, plan the route, and deal with most the other formalities. This will ensure that I do this trip before I am 25.

So yeah, this seems to be slowly starting to come together, still a long way to go yet in planning. But this is a start.

I was driving back home from where I went to uni at, to back home-home, and I was waitng in a queue for a roundabout when the traffic became busy. And there it rolled in, a laden motorbike rolled to a halt in the lane beside me, on it’s back was the main rider with a female passenger. You could see they were on the move from all the things they were carrying.

And off went the imagination in my head the idea, the concept of always being on the move carrying just what you needed. So here I was formulating a plan, an idea, the concept of travelling through Europe on a bike. I had never ever had any interest in traveling in europe at all, it had always been australia first. But now here I was with the desire to grab everything and just set off.

But since then I have had the idea stuck in my head, and I am determined to do it. I already have a pretty likely travelling partner for the journey so will see.
