I am the queen of making excuses. I want to accomplish this goal asap. I will have to make more conscious decisions with my finances to make this work.

applications for passports are down 25% because people do not want to travel out of the US anymore. That could make the process run faster for me!

about $10 to make my total $45. I’m going to find a fun container to show off my savings. After I get my passport I can change it over to my travel saver container! How cute/fun/kitsche/cool and a good visual cue/inspiration!

cuz I is doin’ me an hour of overtime!

That means I am currently at $25, more than enough to atleast take a picture. I will be babysitting on Saturday so that’s probably another $40. If I round down to $30 for safeties sake I could use whatever is left over to rent a movie or even GO to the movies.

Another $30 would put me at $55…more than half way!

started sneezing so my mom called her vet and she needed a visit with the doctor and a 2 week string of antibiotics because of her allergy problems. That was seriously $91. 40 for the visit and 51 for the shot. She seems to be better, so I shouldn’t complain, but I am down to $10 again on the passport support fund. I want to pick up more babysitting soon, but I need to focus myself on finding a real job to do that.

I am making a goal and then I am getting my picture taken with my sis asap!

1. Get passport photos taken at cheapest place (I like Walgreens, but it’s reportedly $4.99 from CostCo)

2. Find the next day I have off of work to go to the local post office (Their hours are only Monday through Friday, 10-1pm)

3. Save the money needed ($100) from a rainy day fund

4. Evidence of Citizenship:
Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state*

5. Present Identification
Valid Driver’s License

6. Fill out the paperwork and wait!
