Goal Done

Well, it’s been a long time coming but I finally finished this goal. Yesterday, I taught my Inspiring the Muse with Tarot class to a room of 30 enthusiastic tarot people. Many people came up to me afterwards to let me know it was a rip-roaring good time and I did great. I’m still riding the high from being bold enough to put myself out in front of everyone and share what I know with them.

HUGE SUCCESS!

It's official, speaking at SF BATS

In August, I’ll be able to say that I have done this. Last week I got confirmation that my “Inspiring the Muse” class got accepted in the programming for 2010 San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium. I’m psyched and looking forward to this.

I did something big

I just submitted my class proposal for an hour long version of Inspiring the Muse with Tarot to this year’s SF BATS (San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium) committee. Here’s hoping that I got it in time and it’s interesting enough to have me on the program.

2nd run thru of the tarot journalling material

i taught another tarot journaling class at our local fall equinox festival. This time, i had to cut out much of the creative fiction from the class and it ended up only being 1 hour long with one exercise. i didn’t feel as confident over this class and i know i didn’t do as well (even though a lot of people said it was informative and there were 15 people there). i really should see what i can do to get someone to read thru my notes and help me really solidify a class outline that works repeatedly. other than that, yes… i now teach tarot. go me.
