At the moment i’m concentrating on being as present as i can. As soon as i realise that I’m thinking thoughts of past or future I name them as ‘past’ or ‘future’ and then go back to being present in the ‘now’.
It sounds pretty boring but it has made such a positive impact on my life. Everything seems just so fresh and new.

occurred this weekend. After a lot of self inquiry I meditated myself into dream state and when I woke up in the morning I experienced clarity of mind. I felt a deeper understanding of polarization and could see it in the relationships of the people and things in my life.
There are still things that I feel that I need to know (or rather experience) but now I know what state of mind that I am striving for. It is ‘experiencing silent state’ without the thoughts.
I stumbled upon this web site and found so much information about enlightenment I have to listen to it again and again.
I try to live each moment in the present, without concerns about past or future. Since I’ve practised this my life has shown me many wonderful things, often the simple things that are sometimes taken for granted. Such as watching the kids play without thinking about dinner having to be done by a certain time. Listening to your kids without thinking ‘I know what your going to say, just spit it out’, because sometimes it’s not what they say that matters, it’s the feelings behind their words that need to be acknowledged.
I need to commit myself to daily meditation to keep on improving my state of mind, but I do think that being mindful of my thoughts also plays a big part.
