I found out a couple of days ago that my dependency override is due this Tuesday, along with two notarized letters, and a letter from myself. I updated last year’s letter, then asked the two people for the letters. They both agreed, and should have them to me by Sunday (thank goodness…they really came through for me). The online FAFSA is OK, so I’m done with that piece of it.
I filed the online piece of the FAFSA this morning, only to find that I was supposed to submit a paper one due to my independent status. I tried to retrieve the online one I had just submitted but had no success. I will contact the fin aid office tomorrow and explain my mistake. Aargh.
