I got B’s in both my classes. I can say that I earned them on my own completely (paid for my classes and books myself, studied, etc.)
I wish I had done better, but I didn’t fail! :D

I got a C on my macro final, which is a surprise. I thought I did better, although a marathon 3 hour exam didn’t help. We’ll see about micro…
Less than one week. I don’t think an ‘A’ will be attainable in either class, but I will do my best!
I don’t think this is going to happen, unless I completely give up on one of my exams. The micro instructor’s really frustrating. I thought maybe it was just me, but clearly, as in undergrad, there are people who think he’s great and others who are just as annoyed as I am.
I will strive to do as well as I can, though.
Got a straight B on my micro midterm. Not bad, but disappointed. The instructor is quite frustrating. He said he wanted things to be understandable to a 14 year old, but the level of depth is definitely not. He even said there were points that were quite subtle—no freshman in high school will get subtle details!
Also took my second macro midterm. We’ll see how that goes in a couple of weeks.
I guess working full-time makes it really hard. I’m proud, I have to say, considering I used to do a lot worse in undergrad. But I still want As.
Got a B+ on the midtern. I thought I’d do better and I honestly believed if there had been less questions/more time, I could have managed an A.
It’s not the end of the world. There’s still another midterm and a final for macro.
I am worried about micro though. One midterm, one final, and a professor who tends to ramble and go on tangents. Woot! :)
For each class. Got a 96 on the quiz for micro. I felt pretty good about it, and knew after I turned it in what I was missing. The instructor’s a little frustrating though, as he tends to drift off and come back to the topic.
We’ll see about the midterm!
So far I’m finding the topics really fascinating. It’s funny how much more sense things make when you have real life experience to back them up.
I like my macro instructor quite a bit—he stated he’s very flexible on how we do our final/homework as he understands everyone has different learning styles. He also has made the slides he uses available via PDF. I had an excellent professor in college who used PowerPoint slides, so I’m hoping I’ll have the same luck in this class.
The micro instructor…not so much. He’s nice, but has an awful tendency to belabor and ramble—he didn’t get to the full amount of what he was supposed to cover in the first lecture. I could also be simply feeling the fact that the introduction stuff overlaps a lot and therefore it’s redundant. I’m a little concerned though. We’ll see!
