get a masters degree

...as to how long it took for me to decide (although that was best instead of rushing into it), so I am overall pleased. The program is nowhere near perfect, but I think it’s the best choice for me. Maybe I’ll end up doing another program (ugh) or maybe this will help me be what I want to do.

We’ll see. I still have 4 classes to go!

Goodness, I haven’t kept up with this. I decided to make the leap and am in a MA program now. Go me! :)

Applied to schools, heard back from some. Got a job which really tossed things up, so I’m not totally sure what I’ll do.

I have a few that I’m waiting to hear from. I might have waited too long (trying to make my application as good, although can’t do perfect as possible…), but I just have to accept what will be. It’s not the end of the world as there’s always next year. We’ll see.

Applying to graduate schools. Fun times!

I’ve identified programs, opened up applications for all but one program (it’s not up till later in the month), and emailed recommenders. Exciting? I guess?

Or, at least setting up the process. A lot of places don’t seem to have their applications up for the next fall. D’oh. So, I’ve begun a spreadsheet to track my application from GREs to transcripts to letters of rec., etc.

It seems more real and tangible now. Eeek.

Well, looks like my schedule has worked out much better and I’ll be able to take the GREs! Yay?

Right now I think I’m going to aim for the end of October to take it.

I’ve settled on a couple of programs I like. I’m currently restrained by my schedule to take the GREs, but I hope things will come through for me!

And they even offer a semester where you can take a couple of classes towards the degree. I think with my GPA it might be a good idea. _

I’ve narrowed down my interests even further. And I’ve taken Statistics and Economics. I’m scared about Calculus though.
