i started working on a book about ww1, or more about the aftermath and its effect on one man. it is set in portugaul and already i am falling in love with my main character, which to me is a good sign. it is slow going right now b/c i have to research a lot of things despite the fact that it is really a character peice and not historical fiction. anyhoo, i am hoping to keep my current pace and have fifty quality pages done in the next couple of months. we shall see.
