Just after posting this goal, I moved from 51 degrees North to 43 degrees North. That doesn’t exactly count as progress, does it?

But this is a long-term, lifetime goal, not something I’m making plans for now. Which may be just as well, as it likely involves a fair amount of hanging around in the winter, north of the arctic circle.
