I started the diet yesterday – the first day of Lent. I weighed in at 96.3 kg (in my defence, can I say I am pretty tall, so it’s not as bad as it sounds).
The plan … well for lent at least, I’m going to cut out unhealthy snacks completely (cakes, biscuits) ... I’m going to limit portion sizes of high-GI carbs (rice, white bread, pasta, potatoes).
And of course exercise more … though I’m not sure when that’s going to fit in. Though if the weather stays good for this weekend I have some digging and carrying to do in the garden!
