That’s what I’ve been trying since I was four, actually. But, it seems read much faster then – either that, or I used to have more time – which is probably the case. Time and the concentration are the catch, I think. Perhaps the things you worry about at, say, twelve, are not less IMPORTANT, but perhaps they are just less… EXISTENTIAL. And it’s easier to lose yourself in a book and actually FORGET, when you’re a kid ;)
However, I’ll, as always, read and read and read (less fanfiction. More books. I solemnly swear.), and enjoy myself. Whoever said escapism was a bad thing? ;)
