plant a flower garden

my plants are finally coming up!!! I came home from work today and there are little green shoots sprouting up all over!!! I feel so proud lol. That is probably silly, but it just feels good to be giving back to the earth in some way, that also makes my yard beautiful! I planted a bunch of wildflowers, mums, and some other things too. I will keep you updated.

So, I planted some flowers in pots outside my house this week. It was actually kind of theraputic. i like coming home from work and seeing what has grown and changed. It is also just nice to be outside more. I want my son to love the outdoors. I feel like so many kids these days are couch potatoes. I want him to enjoy being outside and enjoy plants and animals too. I think i want to teach him how to water them, so he will feel like he is helping me. Patrick, my fiance, helped me to plant them. It was nice to do this together. I am hoping that they actually grow….. and stay alive.
