our basement leaks around where the wall meets the floor. it was finished by the previous owner, but they did a bad job so I think we’ll have to remove all of the carpet and paint the floors instead. carpet on the floors of a 70 year old house just doesn’t make sense. it has sloped floors and a floor drain for a reason.
