i reviewed the use of my stack of credit cards and bank cards, gift cards, membership cards that i have in my wallet.
it comes down to 2 things that i need daily. 1 credit card and my driver license.
to do:
1) use up the gift cards.
2) claim the rewards on the credit cards, then cancel the cards that i don’t use.
3) membership cards – most places don’t really need you card. phone numbers are linked to the accounts.
4) ask for e-statments online for the banks and credit cards. so as to minimize paperwork that comes with the accounts.
need to stop carrying things that i don’t need around town daily. simplify=

i am down to 13 things. would be great if i can cut down to 10 to focus…
but there are some that is like a life goal. that, i don’t think i want to get rid of
need to remove goal that i have no control of. eg closing gitmo… i would like to see that one day. but it is not my job, it is obama’s.
SIMPLIFY. let go….it is so hard to let go..

looking at my list of 43 things, there are so many items that are related/ linked. well, i have 17 things. i think i can simplify it.
1) i can enjoy my steak in argentina while i travel the world.
2) Expand my horizon can be acheived thru traveling and volunteering.
3) simplify is related to keeping my home clean and organized.
etc.
i will try to cut down the number of things on my list. when there are too many things to do, you end up cant really do any of them. FOCUS on what is important and make it a priority. i will pick 5 to 10 things and make it a priority/ must do.

it is a state of mind to simplify.
simplify thoughts, belongings, relationships, needs.
i suppose it is easier to start with belongings. it is an actual act that you could physically do. my husband’s theory is that if you live in a space that is filled with clutters, you cant simplify your thoughts.
simplify so i could focus on what is important and what matters.
