my band is called ishia. check out www.myspace.com/ishia . truth be told, my other guitarist is the one who organized/booked the whole thing. it seems pretty easy, though. myspace.com is a wonderful thing for musicians. all we really did was set up a general route we wanted to take. we knew we wanted to go from indianapolis to canada and back. it took a week and a half. posted the dates we wanted to play and the towns and just searched the net for bands from the areas. we asked them to set up shows at their local venues and we’d do the same for them if they ever wanted to play indy. of course, as an unsigned artist, we couldn’t ask for much. we just asked for 80$ per show to compensate for gas and some food. it was pretty amazing, though. our show in ny city ended up getting cancelled, so we just walked around manhattan all day. it was amazing. if you want to know more, ask me. i’ll help.
