I mean properly "run" a 5k

I’ve done a 5k for a women’s cancer charity 2 yrs running and have signed up to run it again this yr. Past couple of yrs have been a bit of a cop out as I’ve run/walked/run/walked and am determined that i’ll train properly this yr and run the distance. Started training this morning with a 30min run/walk before work. I’ve found a couple of buddies to start running at lunchtimes with and a running class once a week. Starting with both in a couple of wks.
