I’m in college. I don’t have housing expenses (living in a dorm). I don’t have insurance expenses (parents cover it). Yeah I have books, but I also spend a lot of money on things I don’t need—crappy clothes, posters, etc. Enough. I want to have $1500 saved up by graduation—enough to cover food and a security deposit—and I can easily do it at ING or another online bank, so long as I start now.
