So ever since going to college, I’ve become MORE addicted to coke. To the point where I would have maybe 5 cokes a day. I really doesn’t help to be living in Atlanta (the HOME of coke) so everywhere you turn there is sodas. Especially in our dining hall. Without realizing it, I slowly stopped drinking cokes this week. I’m going on three days without having anything carbonated. (I realize that it may not seem alot, but its definitely a BIG step for me)
Yay! Lets see how long this goes for.
-Though.. it doesnt help that there is a tweleve pack sitting under my desk just staring at me.
:D I went a good week or so without drinking any type of soda. Sadly though, It was the first thing I drank afterwards. And I’m actually drinking one now. I really need to work harder.
I remember my cross country coach telling me once that soda makes you sick when you run. Well I didn’t really believe him and a few years later, I’m drinking soda more than water. I wake up and the first thing I do is head to the fridge and grab that Coke.
The other day.. I went for a 2 mile run, and dropped out around the first mile because I was in such bad pain. I’ve decided that sodas are just causing me pain and not allowing for progress. I’m trying to give them up.
:) I’ve had maybe one in the past two days! Thats a big thing for me
