use money as a tool to amass experiences, not objects.

For me this is turning into a way of life. It is simply how I choose to live,

Taking the family on a roadtrip for summer vacation. Lots of time together, hiking, biking, sleeping under the stars.

We are still trying to make our current space work for us. It’s going to take awhile.
But since we’ve made this choice we can go to Ireland this summer. I just booked the tkts and now have to find some places to stay.
Can’t wait!

We need more space.
We bought this place when it was just the two of us and now there’s four. And two of us are still growing.
We spent a ridicules amount of time trying to figure out what to do. Should we move to a bigger place? Or stay here and try and make it work.
Could we move? We figured we could but we’d have to cut out some things that are very important to us. Like traveling with the kids, we all love it. So after making a list of what we’d gain with moving and what we’d be able to keep doing by staying we decided to stay.

Bottom line: We get rid of some possessions and keep seeing the sights

I think this way of thinking has rubbed off on my older son.
For his birthday he us to take him to a rock climbing gym. It will be a blast.

I’ve sort of doing this already. But I think making it official is a good idea.
