I joined a gym and went for the first time. I really like that they have a womens only section. I joined because I want to gain strength and have more energy. I enjoyed my first workout.

I went to the dentist for a check up since I haven’t been there in 2 years. It turns out that I have 2 cavities between my teeth. So I’m gonna have to get them filled.
So the endocrinologist did 5 different blood tests on me. I only remember she said she was testing for my thyroid, liver, electrolytes, the other two I don’t remember. The results came back and she said I’m only deficient in vitamin d which she now prescribed for me to take. So that’s good news that I don’t have hyperactive thyroid. I just need to eat more. I should start tracking what I eat cuz I definitely know that I don’t eat 2,000 calories a day.
So I finally made an appointment to see an endocrinologist on march 19th. I also made a dentist appointment for April 10. Haven’t been to a dentist since probably February or march of 2010. How embarrassing!
So I haven’t gotten a haircut probably since november. I finally got a trim. I’m glad I took the time to get it. My hair feels healthier already.
So, I’m like 95% sure that I have hyperthyroidism because a couple of years ago, I was told that I was borderline. I have trouble gaining weight. I looked it up online and I have four of the symptoms of shakey hands, losing hair, feeling weak and tired, and not gaining weight. I looked up online what kind of doctor I should see and it said an endocrinologist, so tomorrow I have to call my insurance and ask for one that I will be covered under. Then I am hoping to make an appointment for this week.
I went on the choosemyplate.gov website to find out my personal eating plan and now I need to start following it. I want to get to a healthier weight and than means gaining weight!
This is a little personal. But I am going to share it anyway. Last year when I was about to graduate, I felt a little bump on breast. I went to the doctor to have it checked out. They said it was fibromagnoma, which is just a small piece of tissue that grows during the reproduction years. I went to the doctor again last month have it checked out since I felt that it grew, it did grow a little bit. So the doctor decided it was best to have it taken out and I agreed. So I had the surgery today and am recovering. I feel sore but I am happy it is out now. I am thankful it wasn’t anyting too serious. I am making progress on my health. :)
