give blood again

signed in, got my finger pricked, chatted to the nurse, got my pamphlet, sat, waited, talked to the nurse, answered a bzlillion questions, passed I guess, had my temp taken and my blood pressure taken and got REJECTED! well not rejected, deffered for two weeks. Seems I had a slight fever, (could have been the driving around in my car with the top down, in 30 degree heat (celsius not F.) in traffic, who knows. And my bloody heartbeart was erractic. Which I am chalking up to the stop at starbucks for the venti coffee. I have an appt next week to try again. Hilarious.
Note to me: No Coffee and no having fun before giving blood!

Tommorrow is my birthday and Im going to celebrate it by going in and donating blood. Ive been meaning to start donating again for a long time but life sometimes gets in the way! I’ve made an appt, I’m committed and I’m going. I hope the cookies are good!
