and a diet pepsi or two in the afternoon – hey I never said anything about the diet pepsi!



this is a toughy 3 years ago

I once gave up coffee for 5 years. After a few horrible days I didnt miss it at all. Then I started running again and a friend told me that a shot of expresso before a long run would help me with my breathing. So I thought what the hell and thats when it all started again. An expresso before a run 3 or 4 times and week and before you know it there I am driving thru the friggin Starbucks. I love coffee. But it is keeping me up at nights and then im tired in the mornings and then I have more coffee. I’ve got it down to 2 cups (ok 2 large cups) in the morning and none after 12 noon unless I’m really dragging my butt. Ive given up the expresso (found that an asthma inhaler works better – duh). I will get it down to one cup a day before the end of the summer.
