I really want to make some progress on this state visiting goal.

I guess I need to find a companion and pick a direction and or destination.

I’ve gotten all the northeastern states down…

so the closest one… is… say… Ohio? a 12-15 hour drive?

Not that bad…

Or a $45 flight on Skybus ;)

I would love to drive across the country.

i have 24 states down.

i think my love for travel was sparked last summer when i went on a trip to vegas with 25 members of my extended family. it was crazy fun (also, it took us hours to decide where to go, because, well, there’s so many people, gosh!). but we went to the grand canyon, which was gorgeous and we saw the hoover dam, and MOUNTAINS, and all sorts of beautiful things. and then the shining glitzy lights of vegas.

sooooo…. i’ve been doubly interested in travel since then.. i want to see the world…

last spring break, we took a 26 hour bus ride down to new orleans to do relief work, and that was a great time. the bus ride was especially long and cramped, but the places we saw! i’d love to drive cross-country!

so yes, 24 states down. almost half. hm. it was only 12 states prior to 2006, so i’ve been on a roll. i hope next year is just as travel-full!
