while going through the service.

Breathing deeply 20 months ago

helped me today at my orthodontist appointment.

I hadn’t realized I’d be getting my bottom braces put on.

Breathing helps calm and focus the mind.

It wasn’t so bad.

Wait out the rain 22 months ago

Whenever it comes to mind,

I do it.

Luckily, it comes to my mind often. But it doesn’t last long, as I get distracted by something else..and it fades back to normal.

Great article.

Breathing is something that impacts us in so many different ways.

I feel alive. 2 years ago

Was reminded of breathing somehow at work today.

Made an extra effort to breathe deeply.

Realized I hadn’t been lately unless I was stressed.

I feel more alive when I inhale like that.

I like it.

I hope that someone gets my message in a bottle.... 2 years ago

It’s becoming habit for me now. I do it on the way to work. When I am stressed/anxious/tense. When I am out among the fresh air. When I am on break at work. When I’m stuck in traffic.

Good!!!

It's peace-bringing too. 2 years ago

I have been remembering to breathe deeply lately.

I seem to remember when I’m driving, which is perfectly fine.

Oh yes! Here is the article. I read it in a magazine and I had saved it and I came across it a few days back and meant to scan it…. but even better, it’s online.

“How we breathe is a metaphor for how we live our life,” Lorna explained. “If someone’s breathing deeply and fully, that’s how they are living. If someone’s breathing shallow . . .”

I’m definitely turning this into a habit.

Learning to breathe 2 years ago

I breathe deeply when I remember or when I need to calm myself down, like when I’m at the dentist’s office (which is an incredibly stressful place for me).

I found some good reasons to breathe deeply…Hopefully they’ll serve as motivation.
