make my blog more popular and valuable to readers

Here we are today, knocking on the magicallimit of 500… But still so far away. My current goal is to get there this month, let’s see if it’s possible. :)

My RSS subscriber count today was 350. 150 to go and then I can mark this goal reached.

I think I’m getting there, slowly…

But I just realized that this goal isn’t really measurable because it can go on forever. You can always make your blog more valuable and popular.

That’s why I’m now defining a measure for this goal: when my blog 500 RSS subscribers, I consider this goal reached.

I’ve been happy to notice that although my blog is only two months old, I’ve already received over 60 comments and I have around 60 RSS subscribers. Not bad for me, although I know I could still do better.

Currently the biggest question is the focus of my blog. I’ve been focusing a bit over different aspects of software development, but now it seems to me that I should still narrow down my viewpoint to the themes of “green software development” and “the perfect work place”... Let’s see where this goes. :)
