learn to paint

i’m in my second painting class! it is way hard, though. he wants us to draw, and that’s my weakness. i know you have to learn to draw before you paint, but i guess i just got away with a false sense of security when i went through painting class and had a teacher that never made us draw things out on our own…

I’m 3 weeks into my oil painting class. i really like it. i painted a sphere in black and white, and it came out pretty good. tuesday night i painted an apple and a lemon, but i didn’t like it. still, i’m learning!

started my painting class. we’re making a color wheel. painting is way harder than it looks! i can’t even paint a straight line!

I’m about to start a summer “Beginning Oil Painting” class this coming week!
