Make my parents proud of me

I think i’ve always known that my parents were proud of me, only deep down in my heart.. so deep down that i didn’t even notice.
Grades dont make my parents proud!
I was very touched when my parents told me that their mission in life is to make my life successful. I am appaarently their best daughter out of the 3. I am also the most trustworthy and they said that I’m a good role model for my 2 younger sisters. I doesn’t matter when I get a bad grade.. it’s the effort that counts. They have seen me, pulling all-nighters, just to get that A. They know that I put in effort most of the time. And when I get below average, well pish posh because i put in lots of effort :)

I always used to feel guilty when going out to parties nearly every fridays because I thought my parents looked down on it. But they said that they liked how I was partying hard as well as working hard haha. They trust me! They know that I will never drink till I coma out. They know I’m responsible and drink properly. I do stupid things at times but people make mistakes and my parents know that I’m not ‘perfect’

And yeah.. so my parents were always proud of me i guess :)

ok so I told my mum that I got a C in Biology today.. it was weird. It dropped my gpa very harshly. And my dear mother said nothing. I stared at her for like 3min, waiting for her to say something. But she kept on reading her book..? What the hell is that supposed to mean?

I’ve always made my parents proud. But now, I got higher expectations of me. I need to make them even prouder. It’s like a drug. I don’t know what I or my family would do, if i failed them..
