play lacrosse

Well I can play and I want to play for a team but there is no team in school. So I suggested entering a team in the interschool competition, to our sports co-ordinator. And he said that there are no interschool lacross tournaments.. And I was like, oh.. i see.
And so I searched around for local lacrosse clubs.. and the closest one is 30 min away. Well I’m not driving 30min drives (there and back), 3 times a week, spilling my precious petrol for lacrosse :P
As much as I want to play.. it’s not really possible for me

Lacrosse isn’t very popular in NZ.. not many people know of the game. But I played it in Phys ed for a week and I loved it.. although the rest of my team weren’t as enthusiastic as me. There’s a boys lacrosse team starting up in school. Why not girls? Maybe I should start a team..?
