A Simple Tote

I am currently sewing a bag called a Simple Tote from the book Simple Sewing by Lotta Jansdotter. I love this book! Lotta’s projects range from very easy to more advanced so there is something for everyone. My skills are a bit rusty so I thought I’d try the Simple Tote project. I just discovered recently that Ikea has fabric and some of the designs are quite unique looking if your into Scandinavian prints. Hopefully it will turn out so I can use it as a travel knitting bag!
