I think I’m going to sign up for swimming. With straining my back so badly everything else is hurting…. I think the only way is to get more activity. If i go once a day to the pool and do 3/4 of an hour worth of some sort of gentle exercise, then I’ll get ahead in the game….

I’ve been staying away from chocolate bars in the last few weeks. VERY tough to do! I’ve tried to eat at least one veggie and fruit a day. I’m not doing bad that way. I was eating either two fruits or two veggies but not one of each. Very hard to get regular eating patterns when my life is so irregular. I joined a walking/hiking club and I’ve also purchsed walking poles, hiking shoes and a camelback water reservoir. This Tuesday I start. Hopefully I can keep up with the others.
I have been eating more vegetables and fruit lately. Trying to eat a little bit more healthy than I have been.
I’ve also joined a walking group a couple weeks ago but I haven’t gone to an outing yet. I had strained my back a month ago and also I strained my leg almost two weeks ago. But my leg is now better and I bought walking sticks yesterday.
