Squishing sand and mud between my toes, and writing in the sand – I haven’t done either of those for a while.

Gosh my feet look a bit like pigs trotters in this picture!

As I was walking today I noticed first a bird, then some butterflies so I tried to capture them on camera. I think I have identified this one as a Painted Lady – apparently there are more of this species about this year than is usual.
