been ones of progress. I’ve almost completely gutted the thing, and with the help of my good friend Richard have replaced all of the structural damage. The roof is half on now. I decided to hire a roofer, since I have no health insurance; paying the roofer is cheaper than a hospital bill. A structural engineer did some number crunching for me, and turns out I will be able to replace a couple of existing walls with heavy beams so that I can have my big, open dream kitchen! Typically I work 5 days a week, spend Sunday at home with my lady, then my other day off is dedicated to the renovation.

much going to take for the rest of forever. Maybe not, but maybe. I’m almost done destroying the parts that need destroyed, but I’ve got a bit of an asbestos issue in the basement, and perhaps elswhere (awaiting test results). Also, I’m BROKE!
but so, so much more to do. I’ve nearly got it gutted, and most of the bad plumbing is removed. As soon as I get the place watertight, I’m probably going to take a bit of a break.
