I owe 93,000. I pay 630 a month. I did not get a medical degree OR a law degree… I work in non-profit. After interest is taken out of my payment, I end up making about a 100 dollar dent. I will never get out.
I try not to think about it, and I try not to feel bitter when my friends whose parents paid for college have a (theoretical) extra 630 a month to pay for a higher mortgage or a newer car or a vacation while I’m paying for my education. An education I got over 10 years ago. Sigh.
The best I can do is to make sure my children don’t face the same fate. And hope that some nice rich person finds my non-profit work so noble they secretly pay off my loans. Hahahahaha!
