Okay, I’ve had my ups and downs. I smoked for two weeks when my dog died, but overall, I’m done. I haven’t smoked again for a few weeks. I think I can mark this goal done with confidence.

I have been quit for 1 Week, 6 Days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 32 seconds (13 days). I have saved $51.79 by not smoking 279 cigarettes. I have saved 23 hours and 15 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 9/24/2007 9:00 PM
It has been two weeks since I quit and I lost 4 lbs. I am not doing much different, but I am also not gorging myself with food or anything else to substitute my cigarettes either. 2 more weeks and I will check this off my list. I do feel a little lazier in the evenings after work and truly I’m fine with this. :) My number one excuse to keep smoking (weight gain) was unfounded.
It has now been 66 hours since I’ve had a cigarette and I am getting through day three just fine. Feeling very proud of myself. Never thought I would quit smoking. Cravings are fading away.
It has been 13 1/2 hours without a cigarette, feel like I’m crawling out of my skin at moments, but it isn’t too bad. I don’t ssem to know what to do with my hands and that just drives me insane. Keep you posted.
I have now worked through a lot of bugs and have decreased my smoking habits from 20 cigarettes a day to 8. I’m going to maintain the 8 for about a week and then start decreasing. I want to give my body some time to get used to the rapid decrease as I am still clock watching and getting anxious from not being able to smoke whenever I want. I am so thrilled with myself because I haven’t ever been able to cut down like this before.
I’ve cut out my wake up cigarette completely, along with my reduced smoking during the day. Now I just need to work on reducing in the evening and I stand a very excellent chance of quitting successfully and without too much pain.
So far I am managing to cut down drastically at work, I will stay on the schedule I am on now for about 3 more days then eliminate more cigarettes. I am forcing myself to stay on schedule regardless of whatever happens. Now, I have to find a schedule that works for in the evening and stick to that. I want to be able to whittle myself down to three cigarettes a day and move on from there.
