I just found out my brother will be graduating this December with his Bachelor’s Degree. Way to go little brother!
I need to come up with an interesting way to show him how proud I am.

Received a phone call from my brother:
lil’ brother: “Can you give me a ride to camp?”
a confused me: “What? In my imaginary car?”
Lil’ Brother: ”...”
a confused me: “I thought you were at camp?”
Turns out he had come down to pick up some things for camp (where he is working) and his truck was being assy. Since it was already late the shop couldn’t look at it until the next morning. My brother needed a ride back to camp, so we borrowed the moms car and I got to spend some quality road time with the brother. Complete with a background of country music for an hour and a half. ::Rolls eyes:: (Bonus was the ride back: just me, windows down, [non-country] music blasting)
Not that I despise country music, just an hour+ of today’s top hits “Cornbread and Chicken”, “My butt, back, and necktie hurt” wtf??, “Honkeytonk badonkadonk” Badonka-wha? can drive any person over the edge of sanity!
Went to a late lunch with my little brother today – while he is in town. We talked a bit, but mostly sat in a comfortable silence. Fitting since neither of us talk much. :-)
He leaves for his summer job this week, so I probably won’t see him again until around July 4th.
I heard from my mother that my brother got home from school Friday night. (Then he went up to ‘his’ camp for the weekend.) So,..he is in town. I am sending an email tonight to see what his plans for the week are – besides spending muchos time with his girl. Maybe we can get together for lunch …or something.
This would be a big start.
