Title:
I Am America (And So Can You!)
Author:
Stephen Colbert
Sometimes I like to watch the show (The Colbert Report); I didn’t even read half of this book before I had to return it to the library. I guess the snarky satire just didn’t draw me in. The fact that I checked it out from the library violated most of the principles in the first few pages of the text- ha!

Title:
Red Dog
Author:
Louis De Bernieres
Fiction (based on true stories)
Recommended by:
Walked by it in the library
About the book:
“Independent, clever, sly, stubborn, courageous and foolhardy, impatient with boredom and the boring, Red Dog endeared himself to (almost) everyone who crossed his path. These funny, surprising, and touching stories of his life are certain to endear him to every reader.”
My note:
Written in a sort of multiple short story style, the characters of Western Australia bring to life the tales of the Red Dog. Good light reading, perfect for when you only have a few minutes at a time to read.
