I’m fortunate that my employer (InterVarsity Christian Fellowship) believes in the value of sabbaticals for professional and spiritual replenishment, development, and longevity. I’ve got a couple more years to go before I’m eligible, but I should start thinking now about how I would use a sabbatical.
