Give Gemmword lots of love and hugs

Gemmword had been doing much better the past few times that I had talked to her and had even talked about coming back the last two times she and I chatted.

Sadly, however, her Mum got in touch with me late last night and with Tink and I both this morning. It seems that Gemm collapsed on Wednesday evening and has been unconcious ever since. Her Mum told us that Gemm has been heavily bleeding internally and externally. She is also suffering from hypothermia, and her condition is being even further complicated by her pleurisy. Her Mum seemed genuinely frightened over Gemm’s condition.

Please send all good thoughts, love, and prayers that you can Gemm’s way. She sure could use all she can get right now.

I’ll let you know when I know more.

Gemm’s mum just contacted me privately. Apparently, Gemm has taken another turn for the worse. In addition, Courage, the slug Gemm was closest to, died last night. Gemm is heartbroken of this most recent loss, which has come on top of yet another physical downturn. Please keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers.

Rather than re-type it, I am going to link you all to Tink’s Entry in hopes that perhaps it will reach some additional people.

Also, if you could help me spread the word to others who know her, I’m sure that Gemmword and her family would appreciate it.
