divorced daddy

i am a divorced daddy and it’s been tough for my 7-year-old daughter. we divorced about 5 years ago and the little lady was quite young. she is so close to me and my ex and hates the fact that she can’t be with both parents.
i have to really reassure her that both parents love her but couldn’t live with each other. We are both remarried and now she has two sets of parents. she recently moved about 1.5 hrs away and it’s become even MORE critical for me to be as big a part of her life as i possibly can. i’m burning-up the miles to see her and cherishing every other weekend that she is with my wife and me.
i just hope she understands how much i love her and has a great life with involvement from her mom AND me.
