Pass the CPA exam

This whole time I thought my exam was May 31st. Received my confirmation today and it is actually for Saturday. There were no openings for the 31st.

Guess things happen for a reason. I’m actually only halfway through my materials, therefore, I have rescheduled exam for July 6th.

On week 2 and am behind :(

Have to catch up and finish chapter 1 and start chapter 2 this week. Still have a 2nd set of lectures to listen to from chapter 1 and another set of mcqs to answer for homework.

I am familiar with 74% of the material for Engagement Planning and Assessing Risks Module 2. Need to stop 2nd guessing myself.

I’m back at it again. Started studying Monday for AUD. Its a retake and starting from scratch using Roger CPA Review. I’m still waiting for my matereials which should get here tomorrow but I’m listening to the lectures online.

Alright already been through the material for Becker. Now I’m going to do Yaeger Cram and see how this goes. A special thank you to a fellow 43 Things Family member.

Already applied to retake FAR. Going to have to push back AUD.

scored 55%. At least I remember a little more than half of the material. Now I know where I stand and what to attack.

Made it home safely from the testing center. The FAR exam was a beast!!! The 1st testlet was medium-hard, 2nd testlet was extremely hard, 3rd testlet was easy-medium, 4th testlet was comfortable with 3 out of 7 tabs.

Fingers crossed for that magic 75!!! Next week will start my nemesis AUD. Exam scheduled for 2/1/13.

Reviewing progress test and hopefully learn from my mistakes.

I rescheduled FAR for Nov 30th and AUD for Jan 31st.

I am currently recovering from pneumonia and slowly hitting the books again. I do not want to overwork myself and have a relapse. Pnuemonia is no fun :-(

Took cumulative progress test today on Chapters 1 – 3 overall 81%. Income Statement 90%, Matching (Revenue & Expenses) 72%, Marketable Securities and Business 81%. Think its safe to moe on to Chapter 4 tonight.
