I went to an expo called “Sex and So Much More” this weekend with my wife and our friend Jen. The idea behind the expo was to bring a bit of the “adult” expos normally associated with Las Vegas to the heartland of America. I expected to see many freaks and nymphos, but was sadly disappointed.
They did have Ron Jeremy (yuck) and Jenna Jameson (clad very disappointly in a floppy hat and sweater) and a bunch of strippers. The highlight for me was probably Rubberella. I enjoy the idea of fetishistic rubber/vinyl/leather/bondage, etc., but it seems like way too much maintenance. The only real “freaks” were probably the new-agey dorks trying to get folks to sign up for tantric sex classes and waving around glowing magic wands.
Anyway, it wasn’t terribly tittilating, but we did get a nice toy for my wife and a couple of Andrew Blake “classy” porn DVDs. Oh, and a Jenna Jameson bobblehead.
Oh, and yeah, we did go home and have much excellent sex.
